Reward Rally

Designing a loyalty platform that turns customer engagement into lasting relationships.

Context

Reward Rally is a SaaS loyalty platform that helps businesses engage customers through points, rewards, referrals, challenges and personalised experiences. It connects business engagement activities into one place and gives managers the tools to create campaigns and manage customers who share and participate.

The design needed to serve two audiences at once , businesses setting up and managing programmes, and customers tracking their progress and discovering rewards.

The Challenge

Make a complex loyalty programme easy to understand and rewarding to use.

It needed to serve two kinds of key experience:

Businessesneed to create and manage loyalty programmes.
Customersneed to understand their progress, discover rewards and take action.

Process

How the platform was constructed

01 Making Progress Visible

Give customers a clear reason to keep engaging.

Points, rewards and challenges only work when customers understand exactly where they are, what they have earned and what they can unlock next.

I designed the dashboard to celebrate progress, surface recent rewards and highlight the next actions customers could take to keep moving forward.

02 Connecting the Loyalty Journey

Keep every engagement activity connected.

Rewards, referrals, challenges, vouchers and customer activity became part of one connected experience.

Shared navigation and consistent information patterns helped customers move between activities without losing context or having to start over.

03 Simplifying Programme Management

Turn complex loyalty tasks into manageable workflows.

Businesses needed to configure rewards, campaigns, vouchers and engagement rules without getting lost in the complexity.

I structured these workflows around clear list views, step-by-step creation flows and consistent action patterns so managers could build and update programmes without specialist knowledge.

04 Designing for Scale

Build a flexible foundation for different loyalty programmes.

The platform needed to work across different business types and engagement models. Modular patterns, scalable layouts and consistent interaction details meant businesses could adapt it to their own needs.

Working with reusable components also meant new programme types could be introduced without rebuilding the experience from scratch.

What I Took Away

Loyalty design is about making progress feel real and rewarding at every step.

When customers can see where they are and what comes next, they stay engaged. When businesses can manage programmes without friction, they invest in them. Getting both sides right required understanding each audience's mental model and designing an experience that worked for both without compromise.

Research documentation, site maps, and design decisions are available on request , happy to walk through the full process in a conversation.
